Now's the time to act up

ASPIRING actors on the Mornington Peninsula will be given the chance to appear in a short film being made for the Tropfest Film Festival in Sydney.

Actor and filmmaker Sally McLean will write and direct the five-minute film for students at her Acting Up at the House drama course.

Running at the Mt Martha Community Contact, the course will cover audition techniques, characterisation, context, improvisation, voice, and acting for the camera.

Enrolments are being accepted for term four which starts October 22.
