Incognita Enterprises is an independent producer of innovative and original theatre, television and film productions, based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

We are the successor to Salmac Productions, established in 1997 by Creative Director, Sally McLean and under the honorary patronage of respected British actor, Sir Nigel Hawthorne. Incognita continues where Salmac left off - producing new theatre works and original film and TV ideas using established practitioners working alongside the next generation of writers, filmmakers, directors and actors.

Incognita is also involved in online merchandising. If you're looking for gifts and products for the actor or film industry person in your life, try our online store: Incognita Store, packed full of t-shirts, office and homewares. Or maybe Shakespeare is more to your taste? Visit The Shakespeare Shoppe for original and unique gifts for those enamoured with The Bard. In addition to our entertainment based work, Incognita recently moved into the world of small press publishing. To see a list of our upcoming titles, visit our Shop section.

Our award-winning web and graphic design arm, Incognita Design, provides unique and individual web sites, multimedia presentations and logo and graphic design services to entertainment and lifestyle industry clients, including Alan Fletcher ("Dr. Karl Kennedy" on Neighbours), Alistair Barrie (Headline UK Stand Up Comic) and TV and new media companies NEon TV (Sydney, Australia) and HyLo Productions (Los Angeles, USA).

As of November 2007, Incognita now has an official YouTube Channel, showcasing our film and television projects to date. To view these previews, click here.
